Pre-Christmas Weekend at the Romsdal Museum

Come and enjoy a pre-Christmas Weekend with us from Friday 1st to Sunday 3rd of December, with concerts, fairs and activities. The program will be in Norwegian, but we hope you will enjoy the atmosphere and take the opportunity shopping some local food and Christmas gifts.

Program:

Friday 1. December

18.00 Opening by Romsdal Spelemannslag (folk music) - free entrance.

19.00 Presentation of the Romsdal Museum's year book 2023 – free entrance.

20.00 "Førjulsjazz" concert with Hilde Louise Asbjørnsen.

Saturday 2. December

12.00-16.00 Christmas fair and "Living Museum" with activities at the open-air museum.

12.00-13.00 Leikarringen (The childrens dance group) performs and leads the dance around the Christmas tree.

13.00 Storutelling by Bjørn Austigard – "Lyskilder gjennom 2000 år." (Light sources through 2000 years).

14.15-14.35 Theater performance for children: "Teskjekjerringa på Romsdalmuseet".

15.00 Concert and stories by Odd Arne Halaas – "Julekos med Odd Arne".

18.00 Bier history "Humlens historie i brygg" and tasting – by Tapp og kork.

20.00 Concert "Å Signa Natt" - by Edvard and Ine Hoem.

Sunday 3. December

12.00-16.00 Christmas fair and "Living Museum" with activities at the open-air museum.

13.00-14.00 Edvard Hoem tells from his new book "Husjomfru".

14.30 – Concert "Jul på Romsdalsk" - with Malin Dahl Ødegård and more artists.
